Kazakh designers are gaining recognition at prestigious competitions and taking part in global fashion weeks,  El.kz reports.

Aida Kaumenova

A recipient of the Presidential Award “Altyn Sapa” and an internationally recognized designer, Aida KaumeNOVA’s brand was honored with the Luxury Lifestyle Awards 2013 for its contribution to the development of luxury fashion. The brand is represented in several countries across Europe, Asia, and America.

Aidarhan Kaliyev

Aidarhan Kaliyev is known for his work in neo-folklore fashion, with a focus on Kazakh ornamentation and felt. His creations have gained recognition beyond Kazakhstan, including in China and other CIS countries. His style is a distinctive blend of modernity and tradition.

Nazym Karpikova

Founder of the brand Arunaz Atelier, which has appeared on the red carpets of Cannes, London, and New York. In 2025, she was named Designer of the Year at the Kazakhstan Fashion Week Awards and was also recognized by the Council of Europe for Fashion, DELLA MODA. According to Nazym, international recognition was the result of the brand’s dedicated and intensive work over the past year.
