Kazakh citizen takes on 72oz steak challenge in US

A Kazakh citizen took part in the renowned steak-eating challenge at The Big Texan Steak Ranch in the United States,  El.kz reports.

The participant was served a 72-ounce steak, weighing approximately 2.04 kilograms. Under the rules of the challenge, participants must consume not only the steak but also a baked potato, a salad, a shrimp cocktail, and a buttered roll within one hour.

Participants pay an entry fee of USD 72 before the challenge begins. If the entire meal is finished within the allotted time, the restaurant refunds the fee. If the participant fails to complete the challenge, the payment is non-refundable.

The video sparked widespread discussion among Kazakh social media users. Many joked that a two-kilogram steak would be considered more of an appetizer than a challenge for a Kazakh.
