Tokayev announces basic goals of Kazakhstan’s economic policy

President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev delivers a Message to the people of Kazakhstan, El.kz reports. The main part of the Address will be devoted to the socio-economic development of the country. 

"The basic goal of our economic policy remains unchanged - a qualitative and inclusive increase in the well-being of our citizens" - the Head of State said.

In his words, the priorities of the new economic course will be the following:

- the stimulation of private entrepreneurial initiative

- development of competition, that is, ensuring equal opportunities for all

- fair distribution of national income.
