Kassym-Jomart Tokayev visits Mausoleum of Khoja Ahmed Yasawi

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev visited the Mausoleum of Khoja Ahmed Yasawi, honoring the memory of the great poet, thinker and spiritual mentor significant for the entire Turkic civilization. The President also paid tribute to other outstanding historical figures buried in this cultural monument, El.kz reports.

During the visit, the Head of State was informed about the comprehensive research work carried out in the mausoleum. The Mausoleum of Khoja Ahmed Yasawi, included in the UNESCO World Heritage List, is one of the most important historical and cultural sites in Kazakhstan.
