Kassym-Jomart Tokayev receives Chairman of Supreme Court

President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received Chairman of the Supreme Court Aslambek Mergaliyev, El.kz reports.

Aslambek Mergaliyev informed the President about topical issues of the administration of justice and measures for further modernization of the judicial system.

During the meeting, the Chairman of the Supreme Court reported on the digitalization of the judicial system and the automation of the process in indisputable cases of administrative offenses. He also noted the increase in the number of conciliation procedures in civil and administrative cases.

Following the meeting, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev stressed the importance of improving the quality of judicial personnel, strengthening the judicial protection of citizens, ensuring the rule of law and increasing confidence in the courts.
