Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev met with Minister for Foreign and European Affairs and Trade of Malta Ian Borg, El.kz reports citing Akorda.
The meeting discussed the current issues of bilateral agenda as well as interaction within the OSCE.
As the Head of State noted, the OSCE is carrying out systematic work in all three dimensions in the region and beyond. Tokayev confirmed Kazakhstan's commitment to working closely with all parties to achieve the goals set out in the 2010 OSCE Summit Astana Declaration.
We are ready to make efforts to achieve these noble goals and continue to work together with the Malta to ensure comprehensive and cooperative security," the President said.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev conveyed warm wishes to the President of Malta Miriam Spiteri Debono and announced his readiness to strengthen bilateral cooperation and give impetus to Kazakh-Maltese relations.
