"July 2025 was the third-warmest July globally," the data said, with temperatures 1.25C (2.25F) warmer than pre-industrial levels, the data said.
"The average temperature over European land for July 2025 was 21.12C (70.02F), 1.30C (2.34F) above the 1991-2020 average for July, making the month the fourth-warmest July in the record," the European climate service added.
The data also said the extent of Arctic sea ice was 10% below average, tying with 2012 and 2021 for the second-lowest July level in 47 years of satellite records.
