Jensen Huang to visit Kazakhstan

NVIDIA Founder and CEO Jensen Huang is expected to visit Kazakhstan for the first time as a special guest of AI Month in Astana. It was announced , by Minister of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development Zhaslan Madiyev on his Instagram profile, El.kz reports.

AI Month to kick off with HackAlem AI

AI Month will be supported by Astana Hub and will bring together artificial intelligence professionals, developers, startups, researchers, and representatives of the technology industry.

The programme will begin on 23 September with HackAlem AI, which Madiyev described as one of the world’s largest hackathons dedicated to artificial intelligence. Participants will have access to NVIDIA’s technological resources to develop and test their solutions.

NVIDIA Vice President to visit Astana

Another event is scheduled for 1 October. Rev Lebaredian, NVIDIA Vice President of Omniverse and Simulation Technology, will participate in a meeting of the Council on Artificial Intelligence.

The next major event will be the international technology forum AI & Digital Bridge 2026, which will take place in Astana on 2–3 October.

Jensen Huang to be special guest of AI Month

AI Month will conclude on October,23 with the participation of NVIDIA Founder and CEO Jensen Huang. Zhaslan Madiyev said that they will hold a fireside chat at the International Centre for Artificial Intelligence alem.ai.

The discussion will focus on the future of artificial intelligence, technology trends, talent development, and opportunities for Central Eurasia.

“Our goal is to position Kazakhstan as a hub for Central Eurasia, bringing together AI talent and enabling cutting-edge ideas to reach global markets. To achieve this, as part of the Year of Digitalisation and Artificial Intelligence, we are developing human capital, supporting technology entrepreneurship, and building the necessary infrastructure,” Zhaslan Madiyev wrote.

According to the Minister, direct dialogue with leaders of the global technology industry is expected to create new opportunities for young developers.

“Direct dialogue with leaders such as Jensen Huang will open up new opportunities for young developers and provide momentum for turning their ideas into real-world products,” he noted.
