Some winners prepared performances at the award ceremony of the Republican cultural and educational project "Myn Bala". One of them is the winner in the category "Asyl soz" mektebi (oratory school) Jason Kim from Karaganda read the poem "Men zhastarga senemin" by Magzhan Zhumabayev.

Jason began to study Kazakh long ago as in the childhood parents often left him at grandparents’ in the village Karagayly, Karaganda region. From the earliest years he had a great interest in Kazakh language and traditions.

"When you get acquainted closer with features of Kazakh language, for example, the law of synharmonism, you change the voice, mentality, become a different person. Kazakh language is similar to Korean language, we can say that Kazakhs and Koreans are fraternal people. I love to read Kazakh literature. Now I read “Book of words” by Abay. In this book, all relevant topics are at all times,” Jason says.

He practices Kazakh with friends or when he is in the village. Jason said that to know Kazakh is trendy. In addition, Kazakhstan is actively working to promote the language.

"This is a very interesting, rich and simple language to learn. I participate in many competitions in Kazakh language. I knew that there is a project "Myn bala" at House of friendship, which is aimed at promoting Kazakh language, culture, customs, and decided to take part in it," he said.

According to him, he was pleasantly surprised by the number of children of different ethnicities who are fluent in Kazakh. They prove once again that it is not so difficult to master the language at such a good level.

At the same time, the boy shared that in the future he would like to work for the benefit of the country, to develop Kazakhstan. He believes that children of other ethnicities need some kind of platform and environment to develop themselves and the country.

"The Assembly of people of Kazakhstan is an organization where people are focused on unity, brotherhood and friendly relations. There are no personal views, people work for the benefit of society, they have common goals," Jason shared.

In his opinion, now children need to be directed to have a desire to learn the language, because if a person does not want to develop, no one will help him in it.

The winner said that such projects as "Myn bala" can be an evidence that Kazakh language and Kazakhstan will flourish further.
