A farewell ceremony was held to Beysengali Maldybaev in the Victory park of Atyrau, who was called up to the front from Isatay district of Atyrau region and died at the age of 23 near Dnepropetrovsk.

After 76 years, his remains were transferred to his native land with honors. Three brothers, Kenzhali, Berdigali and Beysengali, left for the front and died on the battlefield. Their mother Zhamish Maldybaeva was searching for her missing sons until her death, sending letters and appeals to various authorities, but to no avail.

It became known that Kenzhali was resting in a mass grave in the village of Soshino, near Dnepropetrovsk in Ukraine. The burials of Beysengali were found near Ust-Tosnensk station in Kolpino district of Leningrad region.

As it is known from history, fierce battles took place here, and Beysengali Maldybaev died in the battles over the Tosna River.

During the event, regional mayor Nurlan Nogaev noted how important it is to remember the names of his heroes. We must honour and respect the memory of those who gave their lives for the sake of future generations. We must know the history of this war in order to prevent this bloodshed and continue to search for the missing soldiers, search for places of their death and restore the names of unknown soldiers.
