Issues of transport and transit development discussed in Dushanbe

Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Tajikistan Valikhan Turekhanov met with the Minister of Transport of the Republic of Tajikistan Azim Ibrohim, El.kz cites MFA.

During the meeting, issues of enhancing cooperation between the two countries in the field of transport and transit, including as part of the implementation of the instructions of the Heads of State following the state visit of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon to the Republic of Kazakhstan on May 3-4, 2023, were discussed.

The parties noted with satisfaction the progressive increase in the volume of export-import transportation of goods between the two countries and stated that there is great potential for further expansion of trade and economic cooperation between Kazakhstan and Tajikistan.
