Issues of ensuring safety of children discussed in Astana

Together with the methodological center of the Department of Education of Astana, a seminar-meeting on the topic "Safe Childhood" was held on the basis of the school-lyceum No. 54 named after Akseleu Seidimbek, El.kz reports citing official website of the capital's akimat.

The event was attended by heads of organizations of technical and vocational, general secondary education, heads of preschool educational organizations, members of the Association of Private Kindergartens and the Parents' Committee.

The meeting was chaired by the deputy akim of the city Eset Baiken.

The participants discussed the most pressing issues and problems of educational institutions responsible for the safety, health, and life of children.

The speakers stressed the need to take systemic measures to preserve the life and health of children, and ensure safety in educational institutions. This is one of the most important tasks of the state.
