Issues of enhancing investment cooperation discussed with President of Oman investment authority

The Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Sultanate of Oman Aidarbek Tumatov met with the President of the Oman Investment Authority Abdulsalam Al Murshidi.

The most promising areas of investment, trade and economic cooperation, as well as cooperation in the transport and logistics sector were discussed. The parties discussed the issue of preparations for the upcoming first meeting of the Kazakh-Omani Intergovernmental Commission in December this year.

The Omani side expressed interest to establish a joint investment fund to finance most profitable economic projects between Kazakhstan and Oman.

At the end of the meeting, President of the Oman Investment Authority Al Murshidi was invited to visit Kazakhstan for review the possibilities of investing in major national economic projects, as well as promising industrial and agricultural facilities in Kazakhstan.
