The establishment of a visa-free regime for citizens of Kazakhstan to Iran at a media briefing was told by the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Aibek Smadiyarov, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the ministry.
The Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran from November 11, 2022, in order to develop and strengthen relations between the two countries, introduces a visa-free regime for citizens of Kazakhstan, which will allow our citizens to stay in Iran for up to 14 days.
It is worth noting that earlier, by the Decree of the Government of Kazakhstan No. 464 of July 7, 2022, to create a favorable investment climate, intensify business contacts and further realize the tourist potential of the country, our side introduced a visa-free entry regime for citizens of Iran, China and India, which will allow citizens of these countries to stay in Kazakhstan for up to 14 days, in total up to 42 calendar days during each period of 180 calendar days, " the ministry said.
