Investments in tourism in Turkestan region reach 43 billion tenge

At the end of July 2024, investments in tourism projects of the Turkestan region reached to 43.6 billion tenge,El.kz reports with reference to the regional akimat.

In 2023, the total investment in catering and entertainment projects amounted to 53.5 billion tenge, while in the first seven months of 2024 this amount reached 43.6 billion tenge. The region is among the country’s leaders in terms of investment growth rate.

In the period 2024-2025, 47 investment projects with a total value of 49.3 billion tenge are being implemented in the region. Among them are hotels, resort areas, water parks, five-star hotels and apartments.

There is an annual increase in the volume of investments in the fixed assets of tourism. The interest of investors in this area contributes to increasing the tourist attractiveness of the region.
