Investment project for copper mining planned in Zhambyl region

Within the framework of the international exhibition "INNOPROM-2023" in Yekaterinburg, B2G meetings with representatives of Russian companies were organized, where the delegation of the Zhambyl region headed by the deputy akim of the region Kanatbek Madibek took part, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the regional akimat.

Russian companies were presented with investment opportunities in the Zhambyl region. During the international exhibition, a number of large Russian companies (Ural Elastomeric Seals Plant, Piton Electric, KONAR, ENELT Group of Companies and others) showed interest in participating in the implementation of investment projects in the Zhambyl region.

As a result of negotiations within the framework of the international exhibition INNOPROM-2023, an Agreement worth $66.8 million was signed between the Akimat of Zhambyl region and the Ural Construction Union. USA on the implementation of an investment project for the extraction of copper in the Moiynkum district.
