International IT Forum Digital Bridge 2024 canceled in Kazakhstan

The International IT Forum Digital Bridge 2024, which was scheduled to be held from September 5 to 7 in Astana, has been canceled, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev called for abandoning major events due to the difficult situation with the flood in the country. This year's spring floods have become the largest natural disaster in Kazakhstan over the past 80 years. In light of this, it was decided to reallocate financial resources to eliminate the consequences of the destruction and provide assistance to the affected citizens.
