The International Scientific and Practical Conference "New Approaches in the Diagnosis and Treatment of Malignant Neoplasms" is held on the basis of the Zhambyl Regional Multidisciplinary Center for Oncology and Surgery - a modern medical institution with the latest equipment.

The scientific and practical conference was opened by the deputy akim of the region Yerkin Uysimbayev. He stressed that the leadership of the region pays special attention to the development of health care - improving the medical infrastructure, attracting personnel to the region. Considerable budget funds are used for these purposes, and all so that Zhambyl residents have the opportunity to receive modern medical care.
