On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the capital of Kazakhstan, the official opening of a thematic photo exhibition dedicated to the main city of our country took place in the tourist center of Sofia – on the Bridge of Lovers, El.kz cites MFA.
The event was attended by the leadership of the city municipality, representatives of the local intellectuals, the Kazakh diaspora, the Bulgarian public and the media.
In his welcoming speech, Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Bulgaria Viktor Temirbayev stressed that Astana is one of the main symbols of our state, located in the heart of the Eurasian continent and has become a global dialogue platform for the call for tolerance, peace and integration. The Kazakh diplomat also briefly outlined the main stages of the development and formation of the capital, noting that Astana embodies the city of the future, which is the center of transformations, innovations and global initiatives that arouse genuine interest around the world.
It is noteworthy that the Bridge of Lovers is located in close proximity to Astana Street, the official opening of which took place on December 28, 2018.
In commemoration of the anniversary of the capital, dombra melodies were played in the most popular place of Sofia and the guests of the event were able to enjoy the photos of Astana and Kazakhstan, reflecting all the beauty and diversity of architecture and natural landscape.
