Improving conditions for business communities of Kazakhstan and Saudi Arabia discussed in Riyadh

The Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Saudi Arabia Berik Aryn held a meeting with the CEO of Saudi EXIM Bank Saad Alkhalb.

During the meeting, the Kazakh diplomat, on behalf of the Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Mukhtar Tileuberdi, invited the CEO of Saudi EXIM to participate in the Astana International Forum, scheduled for June 8-9, 2023, El.kz cites MFA.

In addition, the parties discussed issues of expanding bilateral cooperation in the trade, economic, and investment fields. In particular, they noted the importance of increasing trade volume by creating conditions for the two countries' business communities in export-import insurance and financing joint projects.

Special attention was paid to the establishment of cooperation between the financial institutions of the two states. The Kazakh side informed about the activities of the Astana International Financial Center and invited Saudi EXIM Bank to use the AIFC platform as a regional center for business and finance.
