Ice arena built in Kokshetau

An ice arena has been built in the regional center of Akmola region. As part of the working trip, the head of the region Yermek Marzhikpayev got acquainted with the object, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the akimat of Akmola region.

The sports complex with an area of about 2,300 square meters was built at the expense of private investment. Here children can engage in ice hockey, figure skating, short track and curling.

According to The General Director of Raise Capital LLP Dastan Akimov, the facility is almost ready for operation.

"The arena is provided with professional equipment, an ice field cooling system and special machines. This will allow it to function year-round," Dastan Akimov said.
