Head of State visits mosque of Prophet Muhammad

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev visited the mosque of the Prophet Muhammad,  El.kz reports citing the press service of Akorda.

The working visit of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia began with a visit to the second holiest site of Islam - the mosque of the Prophet Muhammad Al-Masjid al-Nabawi in Medina.

Here, the Head of State made a ziyarat to the tomb of the Prophet Muhammad. As a sign of special respect for the leader of Kazakhstan, the place where the Prophet is buried was opened for his visit.

Tomorrow, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev will take part in the first Summit of the Heads of State "Central Asia + Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf", which will be held in Jeddah.
