President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev offered condolences to Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida on the numerous casualties caused by the earthquake on the Noto Peninsula in the west of the country, El.kz cites Akorda.
"I was deeply saddened by the news of the devastating natural disaster in your country, as a result of which a large number of people were killed and injured. On behalf of the people of Kazakhstan and on my own behalf, I express my condolences to you and the families who have lost relatives and friends. I wish a speedy recovery to all the
injured and the safe return of the missing citizens to their families," the telegram says
