Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received Chairman of the Board of China National Petroleum Corporation Dai Houliang, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of Akorda.

During the meeting, issues of cooperation in the energy sector, transportation, as well as oil and gas processing were discussed.

The President was informed about CNPC's plans to strengthen cooperation with the Kazakh side.

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev noted that CNPC is a long-standing strategic partner of Kazakhstan in the energy sector.
