Head of State invites Nigerian President to visit Kazakhstan

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev met with President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Bola Ahmed Tinubu on the sidelines of the international summit "Abu Dhabi Sustainable Development Week", El.kz reports citing Akorda.

The Head of State noted that Kazakhstan attaches great importance to strengthening comprehensive cooperation with Nigeria.

Bola Ahmed Tinubu confirmed his readiness to make joint efforts to enhance cooperation.

In this context, the Head of our state invited the President of Nigeria to pay an official visit to Kazakhstan.

The sides discussed the prospects for the development of cooperation in the trade, economic, transport and logistics, energy and agricultural sectors.

The interlocutors exchanged views on topical issues of the international agenda, noting the importance of intensifying cooperation within the framework of multilateral structures.
