President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev expressed his condolences on the passing of Israil Saparbay — a prominent poet, composer, People’s Writer of Kazakhstan, El.kz cites Aqorda.

“Israil Saparbay was a gifted writer who devoted his entire life to the art of the written word and made a significant contribution to the development of national literature. A truly creative figure, he left an indelible mark on Kazakh poetry and drama. The bright memory of Israil Saparbay, who leaves behind a rich literary and cultural legacy, will forever live in the hearts of our people,” the telegram reads.
