Head of Department of Physical Culture and Sports appointed in Astana

Vasily Levit was appointed to the post of head of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports of the city, El.kz reports citing the official website of the capital's akimat.

Vasily Levit was born in 1988 in the Kostanay region.

Honored Master of Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan, participant of two Olympic Games, silver medalist of the 2016 Olympic Games, two-time bronze medalist of the World Championship, the first three-time champion of Asia in the history of Kazakhstan, two-time medalist of the Asian Championship, multiple winner of international and national boxing competitions.

Since 2022, he has worked as the Head of the Department of Physical Training of Personnel at the Anti-Corruption Agency.
