By the order of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Alikhan Smailov, a government commission was created to investigate the causes and eliminate the consequences of the fire in the hostel in Almaty.
The commission consists of the governmental and law-enforcement officials and the representatives of Almaty mayor’s office.
Minister of emergencies Syrym Sharipkhanov, who is the chairman of the commission, is leaving for the accident site.
The commission will immediately start investigating into the causes of the tragedy and providing emergency aid to the victims.
The government commission will immediately begin work on a comprehensive investigation of the causes of the group accident due to the fire and provide priority assistance to the victims.
