Gennady Golovkin holds meeting with President of Kazakh Mountaineering and Sport Climbing Federation

President of national Olympic committee of Kazakhstan Gennady Golovkin held a meeting with the President of the Kazakh Mountaineering and Sport Climbing Federation Nursultan Shokanov, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the National Olympic Committee.

The main topic of the meeting was the discussion of a new Olympic sport - ski mountaineering. This sport will be included in the program of the Winter Games for the first time in 2026.

Soon the newly created ski mountaineering team will participate at the Asian Winter Games in Harbin.
