Gambling addicts self restricted access to games in East Kazakhstan

In the East Kazakhstan region, 75 alimony debtors, who have a total debt of 84 million tenge in favor of 98 children, restricted access in online gambling,El.kz reports with reference to the Prosecutor's Office of East Kazakhstan region.

Over the past three years, these debtors have spent more than 100 million tenge on bets in bookmakers. For example, in Ust-Kamenogorsk, one of the debtors, having an alimony debt of 1.5 million tenge, lost 7 million tenge in an online bookmaker's office.

As a result of explanatory work, debtors restricted the participation in gambling through the E-Gov mobile application.

To prevent the participation of debtors in gambling, the Tourism Industry Committee of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports sent a letter requesting information about bookmakers operating in the country.
