A foreigner on the international wanted list was detained in Shymkent, El.kz reports citing polisia.kz.
Employees of the migration service of the Turan District Police Department identified a citizen of Uzbekistan, who has been on the international wanted list since 2010.
For violation of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of migration, the man was prosecuted under Article 517 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Kazakhstan. He is currently deported to his home country.
