Welcome to Kazakhstan! Foreign tourists in the Almaty and Zhetysu regions increasingly began to choose not comfortable hotels, but Kazakh yurts, El.kz reports with reference to Khabar 24.

So with the help by locals they deeply comprehend the culture and history of the country, and also try on the role of nomads.

The orchestra welcomes foreign tourists almost every day. There is not a single professional in it. All performers are residents of the village of Basshi. A few years ago, they wondered: "Why do foreigners come to them?" An ordinary village with a small population is only about a thousand people. And then they realized that travelers are interested in Kazakh life and traditions.

A teacher at the local school, Ardak Omarova, made a guesthouse out of her house, which can accommodate 18 people. In the yard she put a yurt, which serves as a dining room. She also prepares dishes of only national cuisine: meat , kurt, baursak, koumiss, shubat and much more. During four years, tourists from 60 countries have been visited this place.

"A few years ago, we began to notice that foreigners regularly began to come to our village. We were a little confused and did not understand them, since no one here speaks English. As it turned out, these were tourists who visit our national parks, and look into the villages in search of overnight accommodation. We didn't have any hotels, and no one wanted to leave them on the street. Since then, our tourism business has begun to develop," Ardak Omarova said.

The most interesting thing is that when communicating, the locals speak only the Kazakh language, and tourists mainly speak English. But this does not prevent them from understanding each other.

"I have been in this village for more than ten days and I am in constant euphoria. I have never seen such hospitality anywhere else. As the aksakals explained to me, the Kazakhs believe that a person is a guest only on the first day, on the second day he is already a relative. I even began to understand the Kazakh language. And the nature here is magical. This is a paradise on Earth," Giorgio Leoni, a tourist from Italy admired.
