The study will assess the working conditions of teachers and the educational environment in schools. According to the Committee for Quality Assurance in Education of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, testing of the international study of teaching and learning TALIS-2024 will be held in February - March of this year. More than 800 teachers and directors of 42 schools from three cities of republican significance and five macro-regions of Kazakhstan will take part, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry.
The study is conducted by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) through surveys of teachers and school principals every six years. Such an analysis makes it possible to identify the strengths and weaknesses of the pedagogical corps and to obtain an independent assessment of the working conditions of teachers and the educational environment in schools.
