Shezhire in AI era: Maksat Zhabagin on preserving national digital heritagePresident Kassym-Jomart Tokayev presented state awards to prominent figures in culture, science, public service, and agriculture, El.kz reports citing Aqorda.
The ceremony was held at the Presidential Residence. State awards were presented to public figures who have made significant contributions to the country’s development and public life.
Addressing the ceremony participants, President Tokayev noted that the professional achievements of the award recipients had earned the recognition of society.
“People who achieve outstanding results through honest and dedicated work have traditionally enjoyed respect in our society,” the President said.
The Head of State also spoke about the political reforms being undertaken in the country. According to Tokayev, Kazakhstan has embarked on a path of comprehensive modernisation, within which decisions have been adopted that may have a significant impact on the country’s further development.
Tokayev recalled the national referendum and the adoption of the new Constitution. The President noted that citizens had supported the new Basic Law in the vote.
The Head of State also focused on the upcoming elections to the Qurultai. He emphasised that these elections will be held for the first time in the history of Kazakhstan and will constitute an important event in the country’s socio-political life.
According to the President, the electoral campaign is proceeding actively.
Tokayev expressed confidence that social unity will remain the foundation for Kazakhstan’s further development and prosperity.
