Shezhire in AI era: Maksat Zhabagin on preserving national digital heritageAI facial recognition system was launched in Astana and Almaty, Elkz reports.
This innovative project has been developed in cooperation with the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the National Security Committee and the Ministry of Digital Development. The system recognizes wanted persons, records offenses, identifies vehicles and also reacts to objects left in public places.
CCTV cameras are installed at railway stations, airports, on streets, intersections, in shopping, entertainment centers and hotels.
The use of such technologies is an important step towards the creation of smart cities. The main goal is to ensure public safety, reduce crime and create conditions in which every citizen feels protected.
