The trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Greece in January-September 2022 is $ 1.3 billion, which is 37.1% higher than in the same period of 2021 ($ 0.9 billion). At the same time, 99% of trade is the export of Kazakhstan to Greece, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The growth of exports to Greece is justified by an increase in oil supplies by 41.1% - by $ 350.7 million (from $ 0.9 to $ 1.2 billion), petroleum products (from $ 0.0 to $ 10.4 million).
Imports to Kazakhstan from Greece in January-September 2022 increased by 7.5% -$ 16.2 million.
The main import goods of the Republic of Kazakhstan from Greece:
medicines – $7.2 million (44.4%);
jams, marmalades, fruit and nut purees – $ 2.1 million (13.2%);
special vehicles and mechanical devices – $1.6 million (9.8%);
aluminum foil - $ 810.4 thousand (5%).
