On January 8, 2024, an event organized by the Institute of State History of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Department of Internal Policy of the city was held in Astana, El.kz reports.
The expert round table, entitled "A Just Kazakhstan in the 21st Century: New Achievements and Development Prospects", was devoted to a recent interview with the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, published in the newspaper "Egemen Qazaqstan".
The event was attended by prominent public and state figures, including the deputy of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Zhusip Nurtore and the head of the Department of Internal Policy of Astana Almukhanov Nurdaulet. They made congratulatory speeches.
Reports at the event were presented by the Director of the Institute of State History Nurbek Pusyrmanov and the Head of the Strategic Analysis Department of the Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies Yermek Toktarov.
Particular emphasis was placed on the presentation of the collective monograph "The Shibanid (Shaybanid) Dynasty in the History of the Kazakh Khanate", prepared by an international research group as part of the celebration of the 800th anniversary of the Ulus of Jochi. The monograph contains new research, archival documents, maps and illustrations that have not been used before in historical science.
Among the participants of the event were deputies of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, scientific and analytical workers, representatives of civil society, scientists and media representatives.
