The law was adopted today by the Majilismen, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the Majilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
According to the new regulation, electric scooters can move without restrictions on bike paths and roadsides, while movement on sidewalks is allowed only at a pedestrian flow speed of no more than 6 km / h.
In addition, it is allowed to drive on the rightmost lane of the carriageway, including the bus lane in one row. However, for this, the driver must be over 18 years old, wearing a fastened helmet and reflective clothing (in the dark) and have a license of any category.
