Prime Minister Alikhan Smailov held a regular meeting with Sir Suma Chakrabarti, Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Reforms under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, El.kz reports citing primeminister.kz.
The participants discussed the steps implemented and proposals made by international experts to develop various sectors of the republic's economy, reform public administration and strengthen the communication sector.
In particular, measures to improve the investment climate, school and higher education, healthcare, interaction between government agencies and other areas were considered.
The Prime Minister stressed that the Government would continue to implement the approved plans and the pre-election programme of the Head of State for a step-by-step increase in the level of social and economic development of the country and growth of the welfare of the citizens.
According to him, this year measures will be taken to improve the efficiency of decision-making by state authorities. In parallel, work will continue to reduce paperwork and reporting.
In addition, attention will be paid to further development of communication of the Government and Akimats with citizens in accordance with the Hearing State concept.
The meeting also focused on the development of the Tax and Budget Codes and the work plan of the Supreme Council for Reform under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2023.
