From August 20 to 28, doctors from the Mangystau region completed an internship at leading medical institutions in Istanbul — Hisar Hospital and Medicana Health Group, El.kz reports citing the regional akimat.

The delegation included oncological surgeons, otorhinolaryngologists, urologists, and radiation therapy specialists from regional hospitals. The doctors studied advanced technologies, took part in complex surgeries, and exchanged experience with their Turkish colleagues, mastering methods of providing medical care in line with international standards.

The internship was aimed at learning to apply modern technologies, perform complex surgeries, and implement healthcare practices in accordance with international standards.

“The doctors underwent advanced training at Hisar Hospital and Medicana Health Group in Istanbul. We familiarized ourselves with the internal organization and the work of different departments. Each specialist participated in surgeries in their respective fields, strengthening their practical skills. Together with our Turkish colleagues, we worked in the emergency department and conducted patient examinations. We are grateful to the management for this opportunity,” Aizada Kosbosinova, Head of the Department of therapeutic and surgical care at Polyclinic No. 2 in Aktau said.

At the end of the internship, participants were awarded certificates. The training will allow doctors to introduce new methods and improve the quality of medical services for the people of Mangystau.
