Direct flights between the cities of Almaty and Jeddah will be opened as part of strengthening cooperation between Kazakhstan and Saudi Arabia in the field of tourism. This was discussed at the sixth meeting of the intergovernmental commission on trade, economic, scientific, technical and cultural cooperation between the two countries, which was attended by the Deputy Minister of Tourism and Sports of Kazakhstan, Yerzhan Yerkinbayev, IA El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
It is planned that flights on this route will be operated twice a week starting next year.
"We invite local media representatives, influencers and travel companies of Saudi Arabia to visit Kazakhstan as part of an information tour in order to demonstrate the country's tourism potential. This will allow the citizens of Saudi Arabia to see with their own eyes the picturesque landscapes of Kazakhstan's nature," Yerzhan Yerkinbayev said.
