Direct flight from Astana to Dushanbe launched

The Civil Aviation Committee of the Ministry of Transport continues to work to further increase the number of flights and expand the geography of flights from Kazakhstan, El.kz reports.

On April 2, 2024, a direct regular flight between the capitals of Kazakhstan and Tajikistan was opened. The official presentation of the opening of the flight was attended by the Chairman of the CAC Saltanat Tompiyeva.

Flights on the Astana – Dushanbe route will be operated by Somon Air with a frequency of 2 times a week.

The launch of the air route will contribute to the further development of trade, economic, business, investment and tourism cooperation between Kazakhstan and Tajikistan.
