During the meeting, the extensive experience of Chinese cities in the implementation of Smart City projects was noted: according to the Global Innovation Index-2021 rating, China ranks 12th among the most innovatively developed countries in the world (Kazakhstan - 79 out of 129 countries).
The parties discussed the possibility of cooperation in the creation of a situation center, automation of housing and communal services systems, the introduction of digital solutions in the field of public safety, healthcare, education and transport within the framework of the Smart City project.
The issue of creating a joint venture with the development of an electronic trading platform, which will expand sales markets for local producers and accelerate economic processes between the two countries, was considered. It should be noted that in 2021, 12 Almaty companies became owners of Gold Supplier on the Alibaba.com marketplace, and in 2022 - already 56. To intensify work in the field of new technologies, an agreement was reached on the mutual provision of comprehensive support to the IT business.
The head of the city also invited foreign investors to actively participate in the creation of joint projects on the territory of the industrial zone of Almaty and the SEZ "Park of Innovative Technologies",
