At a meeting of the Senate Bureau chaired by the Speaker of the Chamber Maulen Ashimbayev, the deputies approved the Regulation on the Senate Project Office and determined its composition, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In his speech, the Chairman of the Senate focused the attention of the deputies on the priority areas in the work of the Chamber within the framework of the tasks set by the Head of State to the Parliament and the Government of the country at the first session of the Parliament of the VIII convocation.
Particular attention was paid to improving the quality of legislative practice, including through the principle of inclusiveness, openness and comprehensive discussion of draft laws. In this regard, during the meeting, the members of the Bureau approved the Regulations on the Senate Project Office.
The project office is a consultative and advisory body under the Senate, whose activities are aimed at building and coordinating a project-oriented management system. Representatives of business, the expert community and civil society will also be able to take part in the work of the Project Office.
The main task of the Office is to ensure project management in the initiation of programs and projects, including through the digitalization of the legislative process and ensuring the principle of openness.
