Kazakh tennis player Denis Yevseev (184th place in the ATP ranking) won the final qualification of the tournament in Tenerife (Spain), El.kz reports citing sports.kz.
For reaching the main draw, Evseev defeated Lithuanian Vilius Gaubas (373rd place) in two sets – 6:3, 6:2. Earlier in the qualifiers, Denis also confidently beat the Spaniard Kenay Ortiz Gonzalez (unrated) – 6:3, 6:0. The prize fund of the Challenger in Tenerife is 120,950 euros. The winner of the competition will earn €16,550 and will also receive 100 ranking points.
