Dastan Satpaev shares photos from Burnley training session

Kazakhstan national team forward Dastan Satpaev has returned to training with English club Burnley. The player shared photos from the team’s training session on his Insta Stories. He had previously spent over a month recovering from an injury.

The forward sustained an injury in early September during a Championship match against Middlesbrough. He started the game and was substituted in the 81st minute.

Satpaev underwent his rehabilitation at Chelsea, who hold the player’s registration rights. As a result of the injury, he also missed Kazakhstan’s UEFA Nations League fixtures.

What the Head Coach Says

Following the draw against Derby County, Hayen said he expected the forward to return after the international break. The coach noted that “everyone knows how important Dastan was in those two games.”

Burnley are in need of additional attacking options.

When Can We Expect Him Back on the Pitch?

Burnley’s upcoming fixture is an away match against Watford on October,10. The game will be played at Vicarage Road.

Kick-off is scheduled for 7:00 pm Astana time. The club has not yet confirmed whether Satpaev will be available for selection. English media currently list him among the players whose fitness remains subject to assessment.
