The forum dedicated to the Day of Workers of Culture and Arts is taking place in Astana from May 19 to 21, El.kz reports citing the Ministry of Culture and Information of Kazakhstan.

Over three days, events are taking place in Astana that bring together representatives of the cultural sphere from all regions of the country.

Over 700 people are participating in the forum, including employees of museums, libraries, theaters, cultural centers, and creative associations.

On May 19, the III Kazakhstan Museum Congress started. The event was held at the National Museum with the support of TURKSOY and the Ministry of Culture. Participants — experts and museum specialists from Kazakhstan, Turkey, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Russia, Belarus, Moldova, and Uzbekistan — discussed issues related to the preservation and restoration of historical and cultural heritage. On the same day, the grand opening of the Center for Conservation Science and Restoration took place.

The culmination of the forum will be the awards ceremony for cultural and artistic figures, scheduled for May 20.

The Head of State, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, will participate at the event. The forum will conclude on May 21 with a gala concert at the Central Concert Hall, where there will also be a solemn meeting with the participation of State Advisor Yerlan Karin.
