In order to discuss topical issues of cooperation in the field of higher education, Ambassador of Kazakhstan Viktor Temirbayev met with the Minister of Education and Science of Bulgaria Galin Tsokov, El.kz cites MFA.
The Kazakh diplomat informed the interlocutor about the structure of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in the context of the division of education in our country into 2 state bodies – the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education. In addition, he elaborated on the current state of cooperation in the field of science and higher education between Kazakhstan and Bulgaria, drawing attention to the existence of serious potential for its further development and deepening.
During the informative conversation, the parties exchanged their views on concrete steps to increase cooperation between universities and expressed their readiness to work together. Also, the general opinion was expressed that the “International Education Fair”, which will be held in spring of 2023 in a number of cities of Kazakhstan, provides a good opportunity to establish direct contacts and mutually beneficial partnership between Kazakh and Bulgarian universities.
The parties agreed to maintain close working relations on all issues identified during the meeting.
