Concert of kazakh artists "The Rhythms of Nomads" takes place in Tallinn

In honor of the celebration of the Republic of Kazakhstan Day and the 35th anniversary of the Declaration of State Sovereignty of Kazakhstan, a concert of Kazakhstani artists “The Rhythms of the Nomads” was held at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theater, El.kz cites Kazakh Foreign Ministry.

The event was organized by the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Estonia with the support of the Akimat of Almaty and the “Almaty Auenderi”.

The program was attended by Zhenisali Yerzhanov, the neo-ethno folk band “Arkayim”, duet “Muzart Life”, the ensemble of folk instruments “Sazgen sazy” and the ethno-rock band “Ulytau”.

The audience got acquainted with the folk music of Kazakhstan. Melodies on national musical instruments, kuyi, musical compositions by Kazakh, Estonian and other foreign composers were performed on the stage.

The guests of the evening included political, academic and business circles of Estonia, Ambassadors of foreign countries, the Kazakh diaspora, as well as representatives of cultural and public organizations of the Estonia.

The Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Estonia Altay Kulginov noted that despite the fact that our modern independence is only three decades old, Kazakhstan has a long history shaped by the Great Steppe, nomadic traditions, values of freedom, hospitality and harmony with nature.

Through music and art, bridges are being built between Europe and the Great Steppe, uniting nations in friendship and mutual respect.
