Company from UAE plans to build treatment plant in Taraz

Akim of Zhambyl region Nurzhan Nurzhigitov held a meeting with representatives of Abu Dhabi Sewerage Services Company, El.kz reports with reference to the press service of the akimat of Zhambyl region.

During the meeting, a project for the construction of sewage treatment facilities in Taraz was discussed.

The head of the region acquainted with the current state of the sewerage infrastructure, the prospects for the participation of potential investors for an integrated approach to solving problems in the field of sanitation.

- The total length of the sewerage networks of the city of Taraz is about 300 km.  Now various mechanisms for the implementation of projects for the construction of WWTP are being studied not only in the regional center, but also in three regional centers of the region, Nurzhan Nurzhigitov noted.

The company's CEO, Ahmed Suleiman Khalfan Salem Al-Shamsi, stressed that the project will be implemented in accordance with European requirements and standards.
